We’re a few months into Trump’s onslaught against the working class, and Democrats are running defense for… Ronald Reagan. But we’re not powerless, there’s another option. Check out our newly endorsed socialist candidates, who are fighting the right for the working class.

New to the slate, Michael Westgaard, running for Renton City Council Position 1, is a shop steward and labor champion who led Raise the Wage Renton to win a $20/hour minimum wage for workers. On the council, Michael will defend gains from Raise the Wage and fight for housing and transit for all.
Also new to the slate, Tammy Honeywell, running for Onandaga County Legislature’s 8th District, helped found her DSA chapter and is a union leader. In the legislature, Tammy will fight for affordable housing, accessible public transportation, and union jobs with a living wage.
Zev Cook is running for Tacoma City Council. If elected, Zev would be the first ever trans person elected to Tacoma City Council and a tireless advocate for higher wages, affordable housing, progressive taxation, and more! Volunteer here
Jake Ephros, running for Jersey City Council, is a champion for housing and immigrant justice. If elected, Jake would continue fighting for renters and expanding working class power in Jersey City! Stay up to date here
