ENDORSEMENT: Maine No on A

DSA announces our endorsement of Maine DSA’s No on A campaign. Voters in Portland, Maine first approved rent control in 2020, and landlords have been trying to roll it back ever since. This initiative will allow landlords of buildings with fewer than 10 units to raise the rent however high they want, affecting thousands of Portland’s renters.
